To remember the  Macronutrients and  Micronutrients elements easily, we have prepared two funny mnemonics (in Hindi). Hope, these will help you in Board as well as NEET examination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Out of 17 essential elements 9 elements are considered to be macro-elements and 8 elements are considered as micro-elements. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Refer Class 11 Biology NCERT Page No. 196:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Macronutrients are generally present in plant tissues in large amounts (in excess of 10 mmole Kg<sup>\u20131<\/sup> of dry matter). The macronutrients include carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, phosphorous, sulphur, potassium, calcium and magnesium. Of these, carbon, hydrogen and oxygen are mainly obtained from CO<sub>2<\/sub> and H<sub>2<\/sub>O, while the others are absorbed from the soil as mineral nutrition.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Micronutrients or trace elements, are needed in very small amounts (less than 10 mmole Kg<sup>\u20131<\/sup> of dry matter). These include iron, manganese,<br> copper, molybdenum, zinc, boron, chlorine and nickel. In addition to the 17 essential elements named above, there are some beneficial elements such as sodium, silicon, cobalt and selenium.
